一、提纲式作文 对立观点式： A.有人认为X 是好事，赞成X， 为什么? B.有人认为X 是坏事， 反对X，为什么? C.我的看法。 Some people are in favor of the idea of doing X. They point out the fact that 支持X 的第一个原因。They also argue that 支持X 的另一个原因。 However, other people stand on a different ground. They consider it harmful to do X. They firmly point out that 反对X 的第一个理由。An example can give the details of this argument: 一个例子。

两个论点都有一定的道理。但是我认为x的优势大于劣势。除了上述可能带来的负面影响之外，x也可能有一个缺点。

二、 批驳观点式 A.一个错误观点。 B. 我不同意。

许多人认为这是错误观点。这样说，他们意味着对这一观点的进一步解释。他们举的一个例子是。(根据x对一组y进行的调查，几乎80%的人同意这种错误的观点或受其影响)。

他们的信仰中可能有一些真理。但是，如果我们深入考虑，我们将毫无保留地得出结论，认为这与错误的观点相反。我的信念背后有很多原因。

　　三、社会问题(现象)式 A.一个社会问题或者现象。 B. 产生的原因 C.对社会和我们生活的影响 D. 如何杜绝。(如果是问题的话) E. 前景的预测。 Nowadays, there exists an increasingly serious social/economic/environmental problem. (X has increasingly become a common concern of the public). According to a survey, 调查内容说明这种现象的情况(或者是一个例子)。 There are a couple of reasons booming this problem/phenomenon. 下面参照辩论式议论文的写法。 X has caused substantial impact on the society and our daily life, which has been articulated(表达)in the following aspects. 参照辩论式议论文的写法。

为了防止x给我们带来更多的伤害，我们采取了十几项措施。

基于以上讨论，我可以很容易地预测，会有越来越多的人……..

　　四. 图表式作文 It is obvious in the graph/table that the rate/number/amount of Y has undergone dramatic changes. It has gone up/grown/fallen/dropped considerably in recent years (as X varies). At the point of (接近)X1, Y reaches its peak value of …(多少). What is the reason for this change? Mainly there are …(多少) reasons behind the situation reflected in the graphic/table. First of all, …(第一个原因). More importantly, …(第二个原因). Most important of all, …(第三个原因).

从上面的讨论中，我们有足够的理由预测不久的将来会发生什么。图表中描述的趋势将持续很长一段时间(如果括号中没有采取必要的措施，则用于那些不好的趋势)。

常用句型： 1. 表示原因

这有三个原因。

2)原因如下。

3)The reason for this is obvious. 4)The reason for this is not far to seek. 5)The reason for this is that... 6)We have good reason to believe that... 例：There are three reasons for the changes that have taken place in our life. Firstly, people’s living standard has been greatly improved. Secondly, most people are well paid, and they can afford what they need or like. Last but not least, more and more people prefer to enjoy modern life.

注意:如果考生对写第一句没有把握，可以改写成两句。我们的生活发生了巨大的变化。这有三个原因。这样写可以避免应用中的表达错误。

　　2.表示好处　　1)It has the following advantages.　　2)It does us a lot of good.　　3)It benefits us quite a lot.　　4)It is beneficial to us.　　5)It is of great benefit to us.

例子:书就像朋友。他们可以帮助我们更好地了解世界，他们可以开阔我们的思维，开阔我们的视野。在那里，阅读扩展性对我们有很大的好处。

　　3.表示坏处 1)It has more disadvantages than advantages. 2)It does us much harm. 3)It is harmful to us.

例子:怎么，一切都一分为二。电视也可能对我们有害。如果我们花太多时间看电视，它会损害我们的健康，使我们懒惰。

4.表示事实、现状 1)We cannot ignore the fact that... 2)No one can deny the fact that... 3)There is no denying the fact that... 4)This is a phenomenon that many people are interested in. 5)However, that’s not the case.

例句:我们不能忽视工业化带来污染问题的事实。要解决这些问题，我们可以从教育公众关于污染的危害开始。政府方面也应该制定更严格的法律来促进更清洁的环境。

5.表示比较　　1)Compared with A, B...　　2)I prefer to read rather than watch TV.　　3)There is a striking contrast between them.

与汽车相比，自行车有了很大的进步，人们可以负担得起。首先，它不消耗石油等自然资源。其次，它们不会造成污染问题。最后但同样重要的是，他们通过适当的体育锻炼为人们的健康做出贡献。

6 .指示数量

　　1)It has increased (decreased) from...to...　　2)The population in this city has now increased (decreased) to 800, 000.　　3)The output of July in this factory increased by 15%compared with that of January.　　例：With the improvement of the living standard，the proportion of people’s income spent on food has decreased while that spent on education has increased.

另一个例子是:从上面列出的图表可以看出，学生使用计算机的时间从1990年平均每周不到两个小时增加到2000年的20个小时。
