表示涉及、关于的介词。 1.of 表示关于人或事物的存在，一般都是固定搭配。 She spoke of the teacher yesterday.她昨天提到了这位老师。 I often think of you.我经常想到你。 I never heard of him till then.直到那时我才听到他的消息。

2.about 表示“关于人或事物的详细情况” They talked about their company 他们谈到他们的公司。 What do you know about that.关于那件事你知道什么？ This is a book about flowers.这是一本关于花的书。

3.on 表示学术论文演讲主题 He wrote a book on the clone,他写了一本关于克隆的书。 This is a textbook on African history.这是一本关于非洲历史的教课书。 They are having a lesson on philosophy.他们在上一堂哲学课。
